ABOUT

I have always loved music! When I was 10 years old I got a summer job watering trees at a nursery so I could earn enough money to buy a guitar. I had no idea how to play it, but my heroes like The Beatles, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and a hundred others, all made mesmerizing sounds with their guitars, and I wanted to do it too.

I played for about 12 years in a variety of bands going through stages of rock, glam, metal, punk and new wave.
When I got married in my early 20’s I decided to take a job running a printing press. I didn’t touch a guitar again for almost 30 years.
One day I was in an antique shop and I found a guitar sitting in the corner. I picked it up and was blown away when I realized all the stuff I had learned so many years ago just kind of came back to me. I realized how much I missed music.

It wasn’t long after that that I met my current and last wife, Diana. She encouraged me to find places where I could play. It was scary at first for a number of reasons. But the biggest reason was, I had never sung in front of people. I thought of myself as a guitar player but never a singing guitar player.

But I did it, and I never looked back.
